Long-Acting Contraceptives

We offer all forms of long-acting reversible contraception, including coils, implants and the contraceptive injection. 

Intra-Uterine Device

Please make an appointment with Dr Lawton or Dr Dolman if you are considering an intra-uterine device (coil). 

Dr Dolman and Dr Boyce fit the contraceptive implant so please book to see one of these clinicians if you are considering this method.

Please note that coils and implants are NOT fitted during routine appointments. The GP will arrange the fitting appointment with you at your consultation.
